Symphony Of Harmony Forest

Well, it's been a while and I'm surprised I can do a bit of digital art with a mouse?! I have lost my tablet pen, it is gone forever and I haven't been able to animate OR colour my work so I decided to go back to good ol' mousey.....Yeah my colouring is terrible with a mouse!!!!

Now, to explain who this is! As you know, I plan to make lots of stories and some of them are put aside for later, if I get any ideas I come back to them later.
About a year ago I was drafting some ideas about my next story after Weeping Harlow (it's good to plan ahead!) I wanted it to be a fantasy and give off the same vibe as Weeping Harlow, but getting rid of the horror and put more fantasy in it!

The plot to this story is yet to be written, right now I'm drawing characters The story I'm drafting right now is called 'Skylark And The Sky Train.'
This character you see here is called Symphony. A good friend of the wizard named Skylark. She is a Fawn but with a human body. She is the last of her kind and is the protector of 'Harmony Forest' a forest that is rare and beautiful and only she has the power to keep it alive.

Though Symphony took only four days to come up with, I can't help but think, maybe that was because my inspiration came from 'The Last Unicorn.' For Symphony's hair mostly, and my style has turned more cartoon than anime =O

I really enjoyed working on this piece, and I hope to work on a bigger piece of Symphony and hopefully work on the forest as well. I must draw the forest! =O Even if it doesn't have pictures of people on it, I'm trying to work on my scenery drawings >.<
